Online Giving

I have been keeping the parishioners of Saint Vincent Basilica Parish in my prayers during this pandemic. As a Benedictine monk, I can’t even imagine the difficulties you must be facing; balancing family, job, school, and everything else that has been made more complicated by COVID-19. During this stress-filled time, I want you to know that our parish continues to care for the spiritual and material needs of our faith community.

Please know that your contributions to our parish help to maintain our facilities, making it the center of prayer in our community. I assure you that every contribution made, whether in-person or via WeShare, directly benefits our Parish ministries, facilities, and charity efforts.

Fr. Thomas Curry, O.S.B., Pastor

Other Ways to Support
Saint Vincent Basilica Parish

Church Envelopes

Envelopes give you a way to regularly contribute to several causes in addition to tithing. If you would like to receive church envelopes, please contact Denise Woloshun at 724-539-8629 ext. 11 or denise.woloshun@stvincent.edu.

Collections at Mass

We gladly accept cash donations, however, if you want us to record your contribution and include it on your end-of-year statement for income tax purposes, we can only do so if you use envelopes.

Internet Banking

Many banks allow you to make one-time or multiple payments online. Use your bank’s website and follow their instructions. And as mentioned above, WeShare is our recommended method of online transactions.

Gifting of Stock

Gifts of stock are excellent ways to give, since the parish would not have to pay a gift tax. Please call the parish office, 724-539-8629 extension 14, and speak with Dorothy Gerhard for instructions on giving gifts of stock.

Specific Gifts or Donations

Saint Vincent Basilica Parish makes giving a gift to the Parish simple by being a part of the Saint Vincent online store. Parish patrons may make online contributions to the Basilica preservation fund or make an honorary tribute or memorial gift.

Checks and Receipts

Please make all checks payable to “Saint Vincent Basilica Parish”. Use the Memo line to tell us what your check is to be used for.

There are times when church projects and programs will request in-kind items. The office can provide receipts for these donations.
