Holy Orders

Holy Orders or Ordination involves the priest vowing to lead other Catholics by bringing them the sacraments, proclaiming the Gospel and providing other means to holiness. A vocation to priesthood can be carried out either by joining a religious order, such as the Benedictines of Saint Vincent Archabbey, or by affiliating with a diocese, such as the Diocese of Greensburg. Saint Vincent Seminary, located on our campus, prepares men for priesthood.
