Sunday Discovering Christ

Discovering Christ is a 7 session course with a day long retreat designed to help you discover or renew your personal relationship with Jesus Christ.   This Sunday version is designed to help parents of CFF students take advantage of this faith formation opportunity while their children are in class, however all parish members are invited.  Regular sessions will be in the Faculty Dining Room in the college from 9:15 – 11:00 a.m. and there will be a day long retreat on Saturday, November 17.

Sunday sessions will start with Continental Breakfast followed by prayer, a 30 minute video, and small group discussion of the video.

Sharing Christ Course

Sharing Christ will be offered this fall on Tuesdays from September 18 – October 23, 7 – 9 p.m. with a retreat on Sunday, October 28 from 1 – 9 p.m. Sharing Christ is the third course of the ChristLife series and helps people who have completed Following Christ to share Jesus Christ with others and invite them to be part of the Church.  Sharing Christ focuses on personal or friendship evangelization, sharing our relationship with Jesus in our daily encounters with people. Divorce Support Group @ Saint Vincent Parish Center Conference Room

Are you SEPARATED OR divorced? Do you have a family member suffering the Effects of divorce? If so, Saint Vincent Parish will hold a 12 week divorce support group using Surviving Divorce, featuring 30 minute DVD showings followed by group discussions with fellow participants covering the topics of shock, denial, anger, grief, guilt forgiveness, the kids, annulment, dating and much more. Grades 6th-8th Youth Ministry – NET RETREAT @ Saint John the Baptist de la Salle

NET Ministries challenges young Catholics to love Christ and embrace the life of the church. Every August, 150 young Catholics aged 18-28 leave behind their jobs, school, family, and friends to devote nine months to serving with the National Evangelization Teams (NET). Divided into 14 teams, they travel across the U.S. for nine months to share the Gospel with young people and their families. Since 1981, NET teams have led over 29,000 retreats and ministered to more than 1.7 million young Catholics.

NET Ministries fulfills its mission by:

  • Proclaiming the Gospel of Christ through a personal witness of faith
  • Inviting young people to live for Christ
  • Forming young people in Christian character through the study and practice of their faith
  • Equipping youth workers and young adults with the ministry skills needed for evangelization

together what we are called to do as Disciples of Jesus.

 

We will continue to meet the first Thursday of every
